Les Chavants
The chalet is in 'Les Chavants'. In the winter this area is centred around the main ski station, the Prarion. Opposite the Prarion lift there are a couple of tourist shops, ski shops, and a bar. This is perfect for anything you may need during your stay. There is also a luge perfect for children, a cross country ski area, and on a more relaxing note, why not try out the nearby spa for a little bit of pampering.
Les Houches Bellevue
A 5-10 minute walk away (or a one minute free bus ride) brings you to the Bellevue lift. Here you will find a boulangerie, a few restaurants, and our favourite bar - the Kitsch Inn.
Les Houches Mairie
A further 5 minutes and on the main bus route. This part of town has another boulangerie, a supermarket, the post office, an ice-skating rink, pétanque and a more bars. One bar that’s worth a visit is the Délice, which is our favourite place for food in Les Houches.
If you have any queries about the numerous activities available in the area, Andy and Maddy will be happy to give you advice.
Public transport
Travel in the valley couldn't be easier with buses and trains running frequently.
On arrival we will have given you a 'carte d’hôte', which gives you with free travel by bus & train between Servoz and Vallorcine. If you plan to journey further afield, then you must purchase a ticket for the full journey, eg Les Houches to St Gervais. Please keep your travel card safe as we can only issue one per person for the duration of your stay.
We can also provide numbers and contact details of taxi companies within the valley if you wish.
